LaGuardia Airport announces, effective Sunday, April 15, that employees will resume parking their vehicles at the airport’s Lot 10. Airport employees with parking permits will have 24-7 access to the Employee Shuttle Bus from Lot 10. Real time bus schedules can be found by logging onto www.nextbus.com or downloading the NextBus app and electing the LaGuardia Airport Employee Shuttle.

In addition, the airport announced that access to the airport from Ditmars Boulevard via the 27th Avenue pedestrian bridge will close on Sunday, April 15. The closure of airport access from the bridge is essential for the safety of pedestrians and bicyclists. This action, however, will not impact pedestrians accessing the Flushing Bay Promenade via the 27th Ave. Bridge. In the weeks before April 15, airport personnel will be in place to inform pedestrians and bicyclists that access to LGA from the bridge will be permanently closed on April 15. New signs will be installed along with additional fencing and an exit-only gate for emergency use.
